I just have a suggestion concerning the discussion board for the English
website. I believe it would be more beneficial for the People's Daily, to
have reader's comments and reactions collected, monitored, screened, and
then posted on the website. Most news websites such as CNN.com and
BBC.com have similar practices. The current method of discussion makes a
debacle of the entire purpose of expressing the reader's opinions. Many
of these people merely make inciteful, offensive, immature, sexist, and
racist comments that are of no substance. I would not be surprised if
there were only children discussing the topics on these boards. I feel it
is a crime for these fools to disrespect such a revered paper as this.
This is merely a suggestion that I believe would improve the website. I
enjoy reading you articles very much. You guys are doing an excellent job.
