Tibetan antelopes adapted to Qinghai-Tibet Railway

Tibetan antelopes were searching for food near the river along the
Qinghai-Tibet Railway.
Chinanews, June 6 - Since the Qinghai-Tibet Railway started construction,
related departments of railway design and construction have paid close
attention to the environmental protection in Hoh Xil. They have set aside
a special passage for the migration of Tibetan antelopes in the nature
reserve and adopted various measures to strictly prohibit disturbance of
Tibetan antelopes.
After a two-year adaptive phase, Tibetan antelopes in Hoh Xil have fully
adapted themselves to the Qinghai-Tibet Railway. Since mid-May this year,
more than 300 Tibetan antelopes have safely crossed the railway.
It is learned that after the Qinghai-Tibet Railway formally opens to
traffic, tourists can appreciate rare and precious species such as
Tibetan antelopes and Tibetan wild donkeys on the train or on landscape
platforms along the railway.
