"Goubuli" to be auctioned on Feb 28

(February 19, 2005) The Tianjin "Goubuli" Baozi (a steamed stuffed bun)
Foodstuff Group, 150 years old, will auction its wholly state-run assets
at a base price of 15,200,000 yuan. This auction means the renowned brand
will be privatized. At present, Tianjin's Haotian Group, Zhejiang
Tongfang Group and Tianjin's Wanshun Group are all trying to annex this
catering giant. Auction will be held on February 28, 2005 and the winner
will be announced soon afterwards.
