L'Avventura (奇遇)

When a young socialite Anna vanishes, her lover Sandro and her best
friend Claudia search for her, and soon, they fall in love with each
other. Then Claudia finds Sandro also loves another woman. The story
turns out to be a striking examination of modern human relationships.

The Orchestra of Piazza Vittorio

A story of how two Italians bring together 30 musicians from all over the
world on a single stage playing 15 unrelated instruments. The musicians
themselves talk about their own roles in making the orchestra an

So Much Rice (好多大米)

While playing hide-and-seek with his girlfriend, Mao Liang (Han Dong)
slipped out of the house and never came back. He shows up in Liaocheng on
the doorstep of a friend He Youwei and stays for 17 days. Mr He joins a
dating club and brings home Ms Zheng, who has been hurt in love before
and considers herself a pessimist. At first, the sound of their
lovemaking keeps Mao awake; then Ms Zheng starts to feel that she is more
attracted to Mao. The film blends humor and melancholy, and catches
certain aspects of the present-day mood in China. Directed by Li Hongqi,
the film took the Netpac Asian film award at the Locarno Film Festival in

The Panda Candy (熊猫糖果)

Guitarist/vocalist of popular new-wave punk band New Pants, Peng Lei,
tells a love story about a lesbian girl and a boy. The second independent
film of Peng, it explores the complicated and contradictory relationships

A Room with a View (看得见风景的房间)

The first of three adaptations of E.M. Forster novels, the Oscar-winning
script captures Forster's wit, language, and affectionate tone. But the
